La tradizione dice che il bouquet è l’ultimo omaggio che il futuro sposo fa alla sua promessa, chiudendo il ciclo del corteggiamento e dovrebbe quindi essere proprio lui a scegliere i fiori ed eventualmente a consegnarlo poco prima delle nozze.
Va recapitato a casa la mattina del matrimonio ma chiaramente lo sposo non lo deve consegnare di persona; per questo, può farsi aiutare da un parente stretto, da un’amica o dalla
wedding planner…quando ho l’onore di farlo io personalmente, questo rappresenta per me un momento dolcissimo che mi trasmette tantissima emozione.
It was born as a symbol of purity and fertility, but over time it changed into a precious and elegant fashion ornament and today, it is without doubt something that improves the entire ceremony.The tradition says that the bouquet should be the last gift the groom does to his bride, closing up in this way, the whole cycle of courtship, and furthermore it is the groom that chooses the flowers and eventually delivers the bouquet just before the wedding.It has to be delivered at the bride’s house the morning of the wedding. Obviously the groom does not have to do it by himself but can be helped by a parent or a friend… better still if it’s the wedding planner to do the delivery. When I have this honor, it represents for me a tender moment and fills me with a deep emotion.

Tradizione vuole che la sposa lanci il suo bouquet una volta terminata la cerimonia (di norma si lancia il c.d.” bouquet da lancio”), la fortunata che riuscirà a afferrarlo al volo si sposerà entro l’anno!
Oggi il bouquet è l’elemento, dopo il vestito, che più rappresenta la personalità della sposa e vi sono ormai numerosissime forme del bouquet da prendere in considerazione: tondo e compatto, composto da fiori piccoli, a mazzo, a cascata, a grappolo, a fascio appoggiato su un braccio o anche un unico fiore decorato da nastri… l’importante che sia qualcosa di unico e prezioso.
The tradition also says, that the bride must throw her bouquet at the end of the ceremony (normally what she throws is called “bouquet of launch”)and the lucky single girl that catches it should get married within the year!
Today, the bouquet is the element just after the wedding dress, that more represents the brides personality and there are so many shapes and forms of bouquets to choose from: round and compact, containing small flowers, in bunches, falling type, in cluster, a long bunch to lay on the arm or also a single flower decorated with ribbons. The important thing is that the bouquet must be unique and precious.
