Italian Villages
From today I will start up with a new space dedicated to the most beautiful villages in Italy. I decided to share with you the love I have for romantic and suggestive locations in my country that could become sceneries for any kind of stunning event organized in every minimum detail.
The first is Clauiano, in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Not far from Palmanova there is a small ancient village made of pebbles and stones, that seem to talk to the tourist that walks by. This village doesn’t have great architectural aspirations but the simplicity of the its rural landscape gives importance to the decorations of the portals. The simplicity of San Marco’s church, whose origins are of the fourteenth century, show traces of frescoes dated about middle fourteenth century. The buildings are typical of the friulian house: the main face on the road, a beautiful stone portal and an internal court-yard.
A presto.
See you soon.
